Hello! I'm Adelaid Wakaska, a passionate Flutter & Firebase developer with over 5 years of hands-on experience building scalable, efficient, and beautiful mobile apps.
I'm a proud self-taught developer. I initially studied at CBE University in Tanzania, where I earned a GPA of 3.1 in my first semester and an impressive 4.0 in my second semester.
However, I made the bold decision to leave university in my second year to pursue full-time software development — and I’ve never looked back.
Since then, I’ve built real-world applications using Flutter and Firebase, including GetSoft, Rism, GetShare, Mark, Sta, Fin, and many others used by real users across different industries.
I believe what matters most is what you can build, not just what paper you have. And I’ve proven that with the platforms I’ve created.
Alongside my software development journey, I continue to grow in digital strategy, entrepreneurship, and modern communication. I have earned certifications in Social Media Marketing and Digital Strategy from HubSpot Academy, as well as entrepreneurship training certification from NTEEP. These achievements reflect my commitment to continuous learning, innovation, and building impactful solutions for businesses and communities.
My certifications have strengthened my understanding of branding, online growth, social engagement, business strategy, and technology-driven solutions. This allows me to not only develop applications and systems, but also understand how digital products connect with users and businesses in the real world.
